When asked what you could do to help out in the womenâs shelter on Thanksgiving day. I was thinking maybe two or three people would like to learn, but since no one could give me an answer. I left the yarn that was donated to me for this project at home and just went in there with the thought of helping with the Christmass decorations.
I was surprised when someone asked about the amount of yarn I brought to show anyone.
Me    : âI didnât bring any, because I couldnât get a number count.â Member :  âGood, because no one wanted to do it.â Me : âOkay, someone gave me some yarn. I can make some scarves. How many do you think I would need to make?â Member : âOnly 23â Me     : Okay
I have no idea why I thought I could crochet 23 scarves in 18 days. My co-worker said she would do one for me. I got two made and I am working on two more now. Itâs December 5th, I should get back to crocheting, because December 15, will be here soon.
I donât know if I was told this or I heard it on TV, but these words are true. Think before you speak, because I want to keep my word, but my heart may be bigger than how fast my hands can move.
Bye IV Now, LD
P.S – Sorry, this is a little off, but I am way too tired to try to figure out how the “Me” and “Member” line up. Time to eat, crochet a few rows, and call it a night…
