Healthy Salad Dressings…

I am determined to stay on this healthier way of thinking. I have been working out, true only ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes before I go to bed, but that is a good start.

I decided I was going to eat more veggies and fruits and cut back on meat. I have already cut back on the sweets and fried food.

Short & Sweet Christmas #3: Musical..

I clicked on Jingle Jangle, because of the colorful outfits. This movie was uplifting and a touch of jealousy. It is a little sad, when the person you trust takes that trust, and turns it against you. In the end that person not only regrets what they have done, but realized you were on their side all along.

It has been said, “slow to talk and quick to listen.” Then again I guess it wouldn’t have been a good story if that actually happened. I liked the fact that it took a young person with an open heart to return a forgotten dream.

This is a good movie and I may watch it again…..

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey/Everything is Possible/Official trailer Netflix

Netflix  Oct 4, 2020

A musical adventure and a visual spectacle for the ages, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is a wholly fresh and spirited family holiday event. Set in the gloriously vibrant town of Cobbleton, the film follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker) whose fanciful inventions burst with whimsy and wonder. But when his trusted apprentice (Emmy winner Keegan-Michael Key) steals his most prized creation, it’s up to his equally bright and inventive granddaughter (newcomer Madalen Mills) — and a long-forgotten invention — to heal old wounds and reawaken the magic within. From the imagination of writer-director David E. Talbert, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey reminds us of the strength of family and the power of possibility.  Featuring original songs by John Legend, Philip Lawrence, Davy Nathan, and “This Day” performed by Usher and Kiana Ledé.

Story # 1: Christmas Movies….

A day or two after Thanksgiving and the Christmas movies begin. I know there are some who watch these movies year long. I am wondering how many Christmas movies and TV shows I can watch by December 25th?

Movie # 1 :  They were long time friends and although her family didn’t make it a secret that they thought they should be more than just friends. She didn’t look at him with those eyes.

He was smart and didn’t let on that his feelings had changed for her. He is a well known photographer who traveled the world, where she stayed  home trying to set her dream as a photographer as well.

A christmas calendar was given to her by her late grandmother and just like that magic hat for that famous talking snowmen. It had some magic and through the side steps and misunderstanding, it brought them together.

I may even watch this again….

Story # 2: Christmas Cakes…

I like to watch cooking and baking shows. I do admit if the person or team I am rooting for loses I may turn the channel or root for the girl.

I was surprised I didn’t stop watching this show for that reason. The first show was cool, but the next one wasn’t. It didn’t look like anyone was enjoying what they were doing.

There are more baking shows on Netflix, so I may try again, but I didn’t like this one:

{} Netflix Sugar Rush goes all out in embracing the Christmas theme with the decorations as well as the treat assignments to the bakers vying for the $10,000 prize in each episode. {}

{} Netflix  https://www.netflix.com/title/81034553 Watch Holidate | Netflix Official Site 29, 2020 · Holidate. 2020/Maturity Rating: TV-MA/ 1hr 44m / Comedies. Fed up with being single on holidays, two strangers agree to be each other’s platonic plus-ones all year long, only to catch real…. Director: John Whitesell Content Rating: TV-MA {}

Movie # 2: This was an okay movie, but it was a no-brainer. If you spend enough time with a person, the game changes its rules. This didn’t really feel like a Christmas movie to me.

Out of Order…..

Photo by Mizuno K on Pexels.com

I know what I want to do, but how to go about doing it is the question. I came off that starting line full of energy not slowing down as objects kept getting in my way, but I am slowing down no were close to the end of my race.

It is a good thing I am not competing with anyone else other than myself.

Today was the first day out to be the person I know I can be.

I am not giving up, but moving to another step.

Who says, “One has to go in order to get to where you want to be?”

I know everything that is on my list and know what can be moved around.

It’s not like reading a book or directions to  build a bookcase. Where you have to go step by step and not mix things up.

All that matters is I am Not giving up on myself.
