I can’t believe I made the same mistake twice. I really should have started over three weeks ago, but for some reason I felt it was right. I thought when you look at a rainbow it would have to be big.

I made a rainbow blanket that has pink and white in it. I call it a girl’s rainbow blanket. It was supposed to have been for a baby girl. I do like my blanket to be a little bigger, to allow the blanket to grow with the baby, but this is way too big.

I repeated the same pattern I used before  on the girl’s rainbow blanket, but omitting the pink. I did add white in it and this one is my, “boy rainbow blanket”. Then again it could be for both a boy or a girl, because it’s  colors are a true rainbow.

I missed and made it the same size as my first one. I was going to make this one a little smaller, but – I realized it doesn’t look like a baby’s blanket. I can still make it a little bigger than a regular size blanket, but then I was having way too much fun and this happened….

I didn’t realize working with so many different colors was going to be a lot of work, but so much fun. I said I wasn’t going to do that again….

Well that thought didn’t last long. I was wondering how to change colors without tying so many knots? I ran across one of my favorite creative person Ms. Donna Wolfe

Ever get stuck doing the same thing over and over? Like that movie where Bill Murray started the same day over and over, I wish I could remember the title of that movie. I guess I can Google it, but my mind has moved on to why I am writing (typing).

I have been spending most of my time crocheting and enjoying my spare time and that time wasn’t wasted. Now that time has moved on, I have to get back to work. I am smiling, because today’s job is reading about crochet.

The best job you can do is work on something you have the most passion and crochet is one of mine. At one time I thought I could do a book review, because I love reading books. Then I realized I could combine both reading and crocheting. I am going to read about people who are into craft from crocheting, cross stitch, painting and the list can go on and on. The title “10 Inspiring Crochet Blogs with Cool Patterns” says it all. If you want to learn how to crochet, learn more behind the craft, and different brands of yarn this was so Great to read each story.

I wanted to add #7 Yarnspirations, because one part talks about  what yarnspirations is about how they help with ideas and there was a highlighted part where it goes in detail about the yarn. 

So much information and inspiration not just to learn a new pattern, but learn about the different kinds of yarn one can use with each new project…

I give this a 10 Crochet Hook… Whereas you would give 10 stars..’

10 Crochet Hooks are way better in the crochet world….

I am sorry if you clicked on this and hoping to find something interesting, but I am playing around my site trying to set up this menu bar. I did go to Youtube, but only got a little info. So It is a hit and miss.. Oh well, I said I wasn’t going to give up. And yes I know the site does offer help, but I am so low on $$.

That is what happens when 1 gets hurt, running from a dog, and missing work for a week. No worries… Oh well enough talk (typing) because I am NOT going to get side track..

A New Stitch…

Ever have one of those days when you just don’t want to go to work? The cool air outside is perfect for reading, a nice walk, or crocheting. Who would want to go and stand in a hot building for almost four hours?

Another question, but this one I have an answer. We all do what we must do to take care of the ones who we love.

I saw this multi color yarn and had no idea what I was going to do with it, I just learned this new stitch, and I can’t wait to see how this project turns out.
