Have you ever wanted to give a person a second chance and when you did, you realized why you didn’t want to be around this person? Well, I did just that, and within a few minutes I knew I was right to keep my word.
People are people and some are just meant to be passing friends. Passing friends? One might wonder what this is, but it is as simple as it sounds.
A passing friend is someone whom you know and happen to come across out and about. Example: you are in a store, and you notice a person you know, so you say, “hello” small talk and be on your way.
A passing friend is someone whom you only talk a short while with nothing too personal, just enough to acknowledge them before you go one about your business.
If it looks like they want to talk longer, apologize and let them know you have somewhere else you have to go. This way you won’t have to accept an invitation when you don’t want to go or lie to get out of an invitation in order not to hurt that person’s feelings.
I wanted to believe this person wasn’t all bad, but I was wrong. Well, let me correct myself. They are good people, but there are some people who just aren’t a match with your personality. I don’t like to judge or to be judgemental.
Your will cannot overpower the person you’re talking to or talking at? That last part “talking at,” because if you are talking at me then you are not talking to me.
Oh well, I can honestly say I gave this person a second chance to not be, “A Passing Friend.” Everyone needs a second chance, and it was done.
I have enjoyed looking through my Pinterest account. Pinterest has so many items to look at from being creative with crochet, looking at art, cars, and the list goes on………..
I have come across posts about how you can make money on Pinterest, taking notes, and telling myself I will follow through with what I have learned.
Why are you in a hurry? Do you think moving fast is the best way for you to get to your happy ending? Whatever you are trying to get to or move from, going too fast you might lose something important along the way. A list isn’t just for shopping. Think of the things:
You want to do………..
You have to do……………
You like to do………………..
** Side note: Once you have your list. You will write next to it how you can do that item. If you have to go back to school, save extra money for a trip etc etc…
Your list doesn’t have to be long and once you have done everything on that list, you can start another. If you couldn’t cross everything off of your first list, add it to your next one, and hopefully you can cross it off your list this time.
I am once again taking a class online, but I am determined to see this one through. I know it’s going to be a long and tiresome road, but crossing that finish line will be worth it in the end.
They say you shouldn’t count your blessings before it happens – then again I believe Words are powerful.
Then again it also goes to how strong is your faith. Do you see with your eyes or do you see what’s unseen? I know there will be a better day for me and I know what I have to do to get that special place. You can day dream about it or you can actually do something about it.
Romans 10:8 NIV
[8] But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:
My eyes are open, my mind is clear, and my Smile is real. It doesn’t matter if the world cannot see my Smile, for it’s NOT meant for everyone to see. I may have barely opened that closed door, but it is opening.
It will not be easy, but well worth it in the end. That door will not be able to close again. I am taking each step slowly making sure every “i” is dotted and every “t” is crossed, because that door will stay open.
