First day of drinking hot lemon water with cayenne pepper. I went a little light on the cayenne pepper, because I thought it was going to be a little too spicy. I like lemon, so I added more of that.
I know hot water is good on an empty tummy, but I was wondering if something spicy would be better.
I know I have gained some weight, but I didnât realize how much? I was walking and working out as much as I could, but once I started a full time job – I no longer had the extra time.
I was doing what I called the starvation diet, because my doctor had me to fast between 5am to 5pm. I have talked to a few people who said it worked for them, and how I shouldnât give up on it. They even said the longer I do this less eating I will get used to it.
They didnât have to tell me how tired it made them feel or leave you in a bad mood, because you are hungry. I found myself eating more candy, because I was trying not to get anything to eat.
I also realized I ate twice as much as I did before once I got home. I was eating beyond just being hungry. I cannot stand where I work and the people I am forced to work with and I am sure that is why I am over eating.
I donât know or like the person I see looking back at me through the mirror. I donât recall how I got here, but I am working on bringing back the person I used to be. I know I have to take one step at a time before I can see her once again.
I am working on being a better me both mind and body. I am already setting my dreams free by writing and creating new crochet projects and I am happy. Life is way too short to do anything less.
I am obsessed with cinnamon water. I know that sounds a little strange. Everyone I have told this to, all have made an ill facial expression. They ask why are you drinking cinnamon water? Yes, cinnamon water tastes really – really good whether it’s hot or cold.
When I was looking up new ways to drink water, because I just don’t like drinking water. I came across cinnamon water. I’m like who would drink cinnamon water? I was thinking cinnamon powder in water would look totally disgusting, but what about using a cinnamon stick instead?
The first time I tried cinnamon water. I boiled the water like you would do tea, a cinnamon stick in place of a tie bag, and hope for the best.
Someone suggested adding honey and that would be hot cinnamon tea. I tried it, it was way ~ way too sweet, and I couldnât drink it. I added a piece of ginger in hope I would like it better. I realized hot cinnamon tea doesn’t really work for me.
Another good use for the cinnamon stick is pineapple. How to make cinnamon pineapple tea:
Wash and cut the pineapple. Leaving some fruit. I also add the core of the pineapple and the fruit is a good snack or toppings for a salad.
Add pineapple in either a tea pot or a pot of water, filled water to the top, and then add a cinnamon stick.
If you like a little spice, you can add a fresh piece of ginger.
Strain the pineapple and cinnamon stick
Add honey, {if you like it sweeter} but to me it’s sweet enough.

There may be more ways to drink cinnamon water than these two ways. I like the pineapple cinnamon tea hot and the cinnamon water cold.
After a short 35 minute walk around the neighborhood, it’s nice to have a nice cold glass of cinnamon water, while I watch anime, and maybe think of a new crochet projectâŚ
I am Not sure when I lost track of âMe,â but somehow that is what I did. I was so proud of the 23 pounds I lost, but my doctor didnât see it my way. I know she was explaining something important, but I was too upset to pay attention. Yes, that was beyond wrong.
That was a few days ago and I can either stay in the past or I can move on. I am looking ahead to a better me and leaving the old sad girl behind. I started a 25 push-up challenge for 30 days. I know I am a few days late, it was 25 this morning and another 25 before I have my last cup of water for today.
I have also stepped up on drinking water. Hot lemon water with a little honey, turmeric, and ginger makes drinking water a little easier. I may be cheating a little, but I am drinking more water.
