My Next Step

I am in the middle of breaking down my second book and turning them into a blog post. I know I can get up to 50 pages copyrighted and each post should have at least 1,500 words. I was going to put an ad at the bottom of the post.

That was my idea anyway. I knew I had to buy a plugin, but didn’t know it cost so much. Then I had a surprise to my question, because I thought adding  ads was affiliate marketing? The person who answered my question about the price seemed confused.

Let me go ask google and see if I am right or wrong, because I am doing my best to keep a roof over my mother’s head and food for her to eat. Now I can and have gone to bed hungry, but I need that roof to be there.

{}This is the answer I got back from Google: Affiliate marketing involves promoting products or services through affiliates who earn commissions, while advertising typically uses display ads to reach target audiences directly. Both aim to attract customers, but their methods and personalization differ.{}

Okay, I believe I write, just saying it wrong, and I am moving forward. I I

didn’t want to go into my rent money, but I am. I will just have to cut my grocery list, because I have to step out of my not so comfortable zone and try something new.

I have already started doing that by doing Tai Chi. I am beyond tired of being in pain coming home from work, and I can no longer go for my morning walks on my day off.

I may not like change, but that is life. If we don’t change, then we get left behind, and I rather move forward. I am now going to take that next step, because tomorrow will be a better day.

I am also going to keep my word. If and when I add any ads to my post it will have something to do with my storyline and I will research the item if I hadn’t tried it myself.

**side note : I wonder how I could actually try new items? Another question to look up at another time.

Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV [18] “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. [19] See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Before Coffee

I am singing my favorite song :

I’m gonna get some coffee –

                                                              some coffee

                                          – some coffee

                                                             – some coffee.

                    I’m gonna get some coffee

                                                   – some coffee right now.

I was thinking about going in a different direction. Then I decided, before I make any real changes coffee and get into the Word.

My mind is on the pumpkin coffee for right now, LD*

My Next Chapter..

People are talking about shopping at Black owned businesses, but what about shopping at a Christian business?

I shop, never really thinking about the company or their background. I only saw the deals and if I can get to it by the bus.

Then you hear what some big companies are doing and without realizing it, these companies are hiding a dark side, and it makes you start having second thoughts about shopping there.

I never really shopped at Hobby Lobby. The one time I was there, I kind of just walked through, because I didn’t see any brand names I knew.

I keep telling myself I should try something new, but yarn costs too much to be taking a chance on. Then by chance someone gave me some yarn and to my surprise most of it came from Hobby Lobby.

I wish I had kept the wrapping, because this yarn reminded me of Caron’s simply soft yarn. I really enjoyed working with it. Yes, it is yarn from Hobby Lobby.

I also decided I am going to take a chance on my gift. I am not the best person who knows how to crochet, but I LOVE doing it. It is about time I start getting paid for what I enjoy doing.

I will help others crochet too, because I am tired of hearing:

  • I can’t crochet
  • It’s too hard to crochet
  • I use to do it, but have no time now

I want to prove everyone wrong and show them how to enjoy crocheting a little at a time. I found out that Hobby Lobby is a Christian company, so I am going to add this store to my shopping list. I can’t wait to see my next chapter.
