Me & Luffy

I am revisiting “One Piece,” from the beginning. Well, I am going to bypass the storyline I don’t like. I didn’t realize how much Luffy and Zora fought. They fought all the time. It’s hard to believe they are really good friends.

The more I think about Luffy. The more I am encouraged to become the person I know I can be. He knew what he wanted to be and didn’t let anyone stop him from becoming a pirate. He may be a pirate, but he is still one of the good guys.

{}  Monkey D. Luffy – Wikipedia From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia in this article, the surname is Monkey. Monkey D. Luffy One Piece character.

Monkey D. Luffy (/ˈluːfi/ LOO-fee) (Japanese: ăƒąăƒłă‚ăƒŒăƒ»Dăƒ»ăƒ«ăƒ•ă‚Ł, Hepburn: MonkÄ« DÄ« Rufi, [ÉŸÉŻÉžiː]), also known as “Straw HatLuffy[n 2], is a fictional character and the protagonist in the Japanese manga series One Piece created by Eiichiro Oda. The best thing about watching something I have already watched is, I can work on a crochet project, or organize my words for my next book.

Time to eat, because I have been wanting a cup of tea all day. I was trying to think about what Luffy ‘s favorite food was and realized he loves meat. Oh well, I am going to be eating teriyaki pasta with kale greens.

I was looking through youtube to find a recipe I could post, but I didn’t find any. My pasta isn’t fancy
 FoOd is FoOd

Cook your favorite spaghetti. (Don’t throw the water out)

Season the greens with your favorite seasoning.

I used : onion, garlic, and chili powder. Trader Joe’s 21 seasoning & a little chili lime seasoning. I also added a little cayenne pepper.

I cook the greens almost all the way through, but if you don’t like a little bite you can cook it a little longer in the pasta water.

Once u get the greens to your liking add the cooked pasta and the teriyaki sauce. I use this one, because it has less salt in it.

A Little Goes a Long Way..

What do you do when you have so many things you want to do, but there isn’t enough sunlight in one day to do them all? I no longer stress what I can and cannot do.

I put what is important first and go from there. I knew I was going to finish my beige blanket and I did. I may have wanted to pick up some more yarn, because the idea of a new project always makes me smile.

I stayed focused and did the next thing on my list. That is all you can do. One thing at a time and you might be surprised that you actually finish everything you set out to do and if you can’t do it today? There is always another day to shine.

I am going to make sure I write (or type) something every day. I may not finish my thought, but at least I will get started. If I can sit for a few minutes, I can crochet a stitch or two. I know every stitch counts and every word type does the same

Time to move on to the next thing on my list.

Ending this List…

Today is another day

Another day to set your dreams free.

I am finally keeping my word.

I have stopped looking at the big picture and

I am taking one step at a time.

I have crossed one step off of my already long list.

It is all I can do

Is take one step at a time

And one day

I will cross off everything on my list

And Happily start another OnE

A Mis Thought…

RESEARCH is NO FUN

WORDS:
GOOD and BAD

By Lisa D

INTRODUCTION: Questions.

I had so many ideas on what I wanted to write, but between my tummy and the thought of crocheting while it’s still light outside. I realized I don’t have the energy to write out my thoughts.

I am still going over the answers I had about a virtual mailbox. I checked a few on BBB.org and didn’t get enough answers to get close to ending my curiosity.

I believe I am going to stop here, because I have no idea how I got five different pictures across my screen. I am just grateful they went away so I can come to an end to this unusual short post.

Then again, I believe I better get something to eat, because one cannot do anything if one’s tummy is yelling.

A Passing Friend….

Have you ever wanted to give a person a second chance and when you did, you realized why you didn’t want to be around this person?  Well, I did just that, and within a few minutes I knew I was right to keep my word.

People are people and some are just meant to be passing friends. Passing friends? One might wonder what this is, but it is as simple as it sounds.

A passing friend is someone whom you know and happen to come across out and about. Example: you are in a store, and you notice a person you know, so you say, “hello” small talk and be on your way.

A passing friend is someone whom you only talk a short while with nothing too personal, just enough to acknowledge them before you go one about your business.

If it looks like they want to talk longer, apologize and let them know you have somewhere else you have to go.  This way you won’t have to accept an invitation when you don’t want to go or lie to get out of an invitation in order not to hurt that person’s feelings.

I wanted to believe this person wasn’t all bad, but I was wrong. Well, let me correct myself. They are good people, but there are some people who just aren’t a match with your personality. I don’t like to judge or to be judgemental.

Your will cannot overpower the person you’re talking to or talking at? That last part “talking at,” because if you are talking at me then you are not talking to me.

Oh well, I can honestly say I gave this person a second chance to not be, “A Passing Friend.” Everyone needs a second chance, and it was done.
