Online Traveling #19: Maine

I have never thought about going to Maine and have no idea what I am going to find other than seafood. I hope I find  something interesting in this state. It is taking me a little longer than I thought it would take me to see each state in my country. I am finding out a lot of interesting things as I go and that was the idea.

I may not find out everything, because sometimes the best things aren’t online. It is all good, some info is better than none at all, and that is still good.

{} Maine  State of the United States of America

Maine is a state in the New England region of the United States, bordered by New Hampshire to the west; the Atlantic Ocean to the southeast; and the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Quebec to the northeast and northwest, respectively. En.wikipedia.org  Capital :  Augusta {}

{} What is Maine all about? Maine, the largest of the six New England states, lies at the northeastern corner of the country. Maine became the 23rd state on March 15, 1820, as part of the Missouri Compromise, which allowed Missouri to enter the union as a slave state and Maine as a free state. Maine is bounded by the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Brunswick…..

** side note: I was thinking about adding more info – then I realized there are other websites that will do just that, and I can cut a step. Sorry….

#1  I loved the scenery the best and they gave a lot of information as they got to each spot and helpful suggestions. They did a lot in one day, but I don’t know if I could go everywhere they went to in one day or would want to. I think I like to explore, well I like to enjoy the town more, and rest a lot.

Dale Davis   This is an 8 minute plus 2 minute end credits video of our road trip to Maine, May 6-13,2021. We drove from Boston to Kennebunkport, then, to Bar Harbor and spent 4 days in the Acadia National Park area. The film features 4 lighthouses, Acadia National Park, timelapses, drone videos, DSLR images, and video images from DJI Osmo Mobile 4 (OM4), Osmo Action video, and Apple iPhone Pro Max 11, and processed in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and LRTimelapse5. Liberal use of the Big Stopped 10 Stop Neutral Density Lee filter was accomplished.{}

#2  Now this video only has music, but what is being shown is outstanding.. It looked relaxing and I would  find a spot in a quiet place and just crochet for a while. After a short walk and a bite to eat. I don’t see why I couldn’t sit with a book and a cup of hot lemon water and enjoy the rest of my day.

#4  There was an abandoned building that was there in the middle of nowhere, wonder what it was? (No info) There were a few branches here and there, cool, but way too close to the small trees for me. I looked like a cool place to walk and a lot of nice pictures to bring back for this outing.

** side note: I had to ask google a question?

Q : Is New Hampshire a part of Maine?                                                              A : New Hampshire (/ˈhæmpʃər/) is a state in the New England region of the United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts to the south, Vermont to the west, Maine and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north.

I asked that question, because of the next video.

 Mr n Mrs Traveler In this video we will take to the best places to visit in New Hampshire for fall colors. We drove from Conway to Lincoln on the 35 mile scenic Kancamagus Highway which cuts through the White Mountains National Forest and provides one of the best fall foliage views in the country. We visited in the 1st week of October 2020.❤️Check out our latest blog on New Hampshire Fall Foliage for a detailed description :-https://mrnmrstraveler.com/new-hampsh…{}

#5 Before I can say anything about this video, I just noticed a second date (October 2020) but if you notice the date Sept 11, 2021 which was and is on the 1st post of this video. I have no idea which is correct. Anyway. I loved the colors of the trees and they did have some good information about each place they visited.

~ I believe I want to see more of Maine and its surrounding areas, so there will be a part 2 of Maine.

Bye IV Now, LD*
