Today is Mother’s Day and I decided I wanted to spend the day doing nothing. Well, doing things I like doing, and I am not going to let anyone’s opinions take my Smile away.

I have no idea where the taste for a bagel with cream came from and I miss my home. Times like this I wish I was in NewYork again, because I would have had that bagel with cream cheese. I may not have gotten what I was craving.  My eggs (two eggs, red onions, spinach, turkey sausage, and topped with cheese) were still good. Oops I just realized I forgot to take that picture with the cheese..

I have been praising since my eyes opened and most likely not going to stop doing that. I wanted to go to church, but I was asked if I wanted to work  an extra day and I cannot turn down money. I know who I am and my faith is just as strong as the day I was reborn, if not stronger.

I listen to people say you have to go to church and praise  together with everyone for Him to agree with you. Now I believe when more than two come together and worship God, encouraging one another is good, but it doesn’t matter if I am alone in a crowd or alone in my own home. God’s will is always with me.

There will always be someone telling you who you are and who you should be and their beliefs should be yours, because they are older than you or they have a degree that says they remember what was in a book.

You have to believe in yourself and know who you are and not what others want you to be. Some will encourage you to be better, then there are those who want you to stay less, so they can shine. They could be family or a friend. I know sometimes you have to look a little closer to everyone and then you will see who is real through and through.

Well, I am going to enjoy my quiet time until my son comes back with dinner. He wanted to take me and his grandmother out, but restaurants are going to be crowded and I just want to continue having a relaxing day. There isn’t anything like eating in the comforts of your home, especially if you don’t have to cook or wash dishes. This way we can play a game or two before calling it a night. I am blessed this is another great day.

They say a mother’s love goes beyond their baby’s first breath of air. The second they know there is life within, they are praying for good health, long life, and an easy birth. Mothers are known to give encouraging words, a warm hug or two, and always seem to know how to bring a smile – when all you want to do is cry. As a parent we pray for our child(ren) from the time we learn of their existence. We pray for their happiness and good health throughout each stage of their life. I added a few pages where you can write down your prayers. I also added some blank pages where a story can be told to or about your little one. Ex: Their favorite food, first step, how old they were when their teeth fell out, and the list goes on. This book is 6 x 9 and a total of 100 pages.
