I used to watch short stories on youtube and my son said I shouldn’t be watching or listening to these stories. I can actually see myself in some of them and think what would happen if I could rewrite my story and make people who think they know everything about who they believe I am.

Then I started rethinking about how I am praying. I have been looking at my purple and white journal, where I started taking notes as I study the bible, and realized I am not praying correctly or enough.
I was about to turn youtube off when I noticed a video that caught my attention and these are truly positive words to listen to.
After looking/listening to a few of these made me remember something I read and have been taught by my late pastor and know about the power of words. I wish I could remember off hand where in the bible it says this, but its not hard to look it up.

The words you say and believe are powerful, if your faith is strong. It’s not what you say, but how you say it? I know I have prayed for good health, a clear mind, and a better job. One would think that’s enough, but it isn’t even close enough. It isn’t what you pray for, but how you are praying.
**side note : I was trying to calm my nerves as I typed and was starting to get overwhelmed. The words in my head started to blur and when I had to bite my finger, because I wanted to scream. I clicked on this video and that helped calm me down. I was/no I am going to start a new prayer book. This book will give detailed information about what I want, how I believe I will achieve those goals, and a bible verse to go along with each goal.
**side note : I haven’t decided if I will post what my new book looks like, but this time I am writing for myself and not for anyone else. I did give an idea of what it will look like and if it will help someone else take a step to move forward, I am Happy……………
