No Fear….

Starting something new is scary, but –

Psalms 27:1 AMP [1] The Lord is my light and my salvation— Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the refuge and fortress of my life— Whom shall I dread?

I have to remind myself of who I am today and not the closed minded person I was years ago. I am moving forward and NOT  looking back. The way I see it. I have already learned from my mistakes and I have let them go.

Isaiah 43:18 NIV [18] “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.

I was about to have an UGH moment, because my computer is about to die. Then I remembered my tea kettle had just stopped. I will get my lavender tea as I let this computer charge before I start a new chapter in my life.

Ezekiel 18:31 KJV [31] Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Not Just Water

First day of drinking hot lemon water with cayenne pepper. I went a little light on the cayenne pepper, because I thought it was going to be a little too spicy. I like lemon, so I added more of that.

I know hot water is good on an empty tummy, but I was wondering if something spicy would be better.

One is spicy (the hot water with the cayenne pepper) helps you go to the bathroom. The other hot water drink is great for dehydration.

Water does wonders to help you stay healthy.

Isaiah 43:19 NIV

[19] See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Time for a short workout and after my coffee a walk around the neighborhood.  Small steps will still get you to your goal.

Adding to My List..

Photo by Polina u2800 on Pexels.com

Going through your unanswered messages on your email is something no one wants to go through, at least this is how I feel, and why I had over a thousand messages. I am going to take ten minutes every other day to clear my email account.

Cleaning out my email is going to be adding to my list of things I need to do. It doesn’t matter if your list is in your head, written on posted notes, or in a book you check off as you go.

Having a list of things you do on a daily basis and having a list of things you want to do can help you stay on track on getting everything done.

I wonder if I am the only one who likes to have a list of things I want to do and things I would like to do?

Unheard Words…

Photo by ALAMEEN A-DAE on Pexels.com

I had to yell at myself, (in my head of course) “SHUT UP!” and just keep my word. I said I wasn’t going to offer a ride on my bus service to anyone who doesn’t appreciate it. I answered a simple question and did not give the reply that reply that would normally follow.

I was feeling bad, like I was wrong in not offering my help, but then I remember the complaints. The manipulation of getting a ride that wasn’t offered. I just smiled and kept my mouth shut.

I didn’t give a reason, because I wasn’t asked. I don’t want to open a can of worms unless I have too. If asked I will be respectful and hope we could still be friends. If there is an apology, maybe I would try again, but that is a Big “IF?”

In the end if someone is doing something for you, you should be grateful, and hold back your complaints.

A Two for One…

Photo by Heinz Klier on Pexels.com

I started an app called noom vibe. It’s an app that will help me get back to the person I used to be. I realized I needed help, a good motivation to help me keep moving. It’s hard when you are alone in the physical world, but I know my Lord Jesus is with me every step, every breath, He is in everything I do. Through Him I will overcome everything that is in my way….

I know I should be drinking more water and eating better. I am going to make sure I rearrange how I think. I eat on how I am feeling. At first I tell myself I am going to eat a little at a time, because I don’t want to give up on food I like, and have been eating for years. That doesn’t always work, because it’s hard to stop eating good food. I was more active a few days (years) ago and could eat anything.

I was told by my doctor I need to add more vitamins to my diet. I know vitamins are good, but I am so over taking pills. There has to be another way?

23 Healthy Foods That Are High in Vitamin

I like the idea of a two for one. I can go for a thirty minute walk (or longer if I am talking to someone or into my music) and get some vitamin D (don’t forget the sunscreen) as I burn off a few calories.
