Two Crochet Project Ideas?

Thinking about the two bags of crochet granny squares I have in the corner of my room. I finally know what I am going to do with them and it wasn’t my first thought. I enjoy making granny squares, but I don’t like sewing them together. I was blessed with a box of dark grey yarn and I realized I could join those squares together. I was scrollering through my facebook page one day, and saw someone was showing how to use scraps of yarn, and turning them into a somewhat colorful blanket.

I have two designs for one project or I could crochet both, and just make each blanket smaller? I can see each project, but visualizing it and creating it are two different outcomes.

I would really dislike buying more yarn to complete a scrap blanket. I enjoy crocheting especially when I have a creative idea in mind, and the yarn turns that idea into reality.

The best thing about joining granny squares is there are so many ways to join the squares together and they always will be a cute and warm blanket. I actually went on youtube and was about to add a few of my favorite creators, but it was hard to decide on just two.

I have said this before and I will keep saying it, “once you are on youtube type in what you are looking for and look at at least 5 different people and then choose the design you like the most.”  Here are a few names I LIKE:

  1. Jayda InStitches
  2. TL Yarn Crafts
  3. Hooked by Robin
  4. Naztazia
  5. Bella Coco

I am going to fix myself a cup of peppermint tea, then gather all my granny squares in the same material, and not by color. I will decide which blanket I am crocheting next. I can’t wait to see what that project looks like.

“A Composition Notebook” by  Lysa’ Dee   and  It doesn’t matter if you are taking notes, writing a short story or two. Writing can be fun in a cool notebook. Words have a way to make you feel calm or the energy to create something new or encourage you to set a dream free. The lines of this composition notebook may not have any words now, but I am sure someone can change that. Have fun with your words….

**sidenote : I wish I had started a book with each project with not just the colors, but the name of the yarn and the hook I created it with. I thought I would add a book with the same idea…
