Anime Watch list3: I Want to….

{} I want to eat your pancreas ~ 2018 ‧ Romance/Drama ‧ 1h 49m

The aloof protagonist: a bookworm who is deeply detached from the world he resides in. He has no interest in others and is firmly convinced that nobody has any interest in him either. His story begins when he stumbles across a handwritten book, titled “Living with Dying.” He soon identifies it as a secret diary belonging to his popular, bubbly classmate Sakura Yamauchi. She then confides in him about the pancreatic disease she is suffering from and that her time left is finite. Only her family knows about her terminal illness; not even her best friends are aware. Despite this revelation, he shows zero sympathy for her plight, but caught in the waves of Sakura’s persistent buoyancy, he eventually concedes to accompanying her for her remaining days.

As the pair of polar opposites interact, their connection strengthens, interweaving through their choices made with each passing day. Her apparent nonchalance and unpredictability disrupts the protagonist’s impassive flow of life, gradually opening his heart as he discovers and embraces the true meaning of living.

This is a new anime movie and I can’t wait to get n2 it. At first I was kind of upset, because someone (a guy) found another person’s personal book and read it. It is beyond rude to read someone’s else’s personal thoughts. As I continued to read the outlines of the story the girl (who owns the book)didn’t hold it against him and I am intrigued to find out why?

*A side note: Another question, one that wasn’t asked directly, but it was asked just the same. Looking forward to getting an answer….

Over an hour of my time wasted…. To say it didn’t end right wouldn’t be saying it  STRONG ENOUGH!!!  I am going to make sure I NEVER look at another of Yoru Sumino ever again….

If it had ended after he (Haruki)had left her (Sakura) house, then it would have ended better, but it didn’t. It ended with an unanswered question. One should NEVER end a movie, a book, or a story with an unanswered question.

Let me calm down and go back to one of my favorite animes and that would be D.N Angel – who couldn’t love Dark and Daisuke. That actually should be Daisuke and Dark, because there wouldn’t be a Dark if it wasn’t for Daisuke.  I have lost count on the times I have already watched this series. It has been a while and I don’t know all of the stories by heart, and that is a good thing.

It is also a good thing when you know you have seen some good animes. Animes are just like books, one can never judge a book by its cover, and one cannot stop reading different kinds of books. So, I will not stop watching new anime.. I can always go back to one I like to clear away what I Just closed my eyes too and try to forget that my time was wasted.

D.N.Angel is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yukiru Sugisaki. The manga premiered in Japan in the Kadokawa Shoten shōjo magazine Monthly Asuka in November 1997. The series went on an extended hiatus after the August 2005 issue, returning in the April 2008 issue. Wikipedia  {}

Anime Watch List: Noragami

I am in another Anime world, because I didn’t choose a series I am already familiar with and chose something new. I normally stay away from anything with the word god in it. I liked the art work so I decided to give this show a chance.

“Noragami” isn’t what I thought and it is a good show to watch. One doesn’t have to look too far to see the meaning of each chapter and maybe take something from it, that applies to the real world.

Chapter 1: How (Hiyori) a normal girl not only saw a god, not knowing who he (Yato) was, and helped him from getting hit by a bus. In which she is caught up in between worlds.

Chapter 2: She learns how she got that way and seeks Yato’s help to get her back to normal. Oh everyone sees her sleeping all the time, when she isn’t in her body, and she doesn’t like it.

Chapter 3: Hiyori  thought she could help Yato by finding him a spirit that could work with him, but she did and didn’t. She may have found the wrong spirit, but as they were running for their lives Yato found what he was looking for. Yukine became his sword and together they defended the bad spirit.

Hiyori is looking at her new temporary life through human eyes as Yato only sees it his way. She thinks she can fight alone. I don’t know if she will be able to do it in the future, but it’s a good thing Yato helps her even if he doesn’t want to.

I can ‘t wait to see what else happens next..

Manga series

Noragami is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Adachitoka. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Monthly Shōnen Magazine in December 2010. The series has been collected into twenty-two tankōbon volumes as of June 2020. Wikipedia

SynopsisIn times of need, if you look in the right place, you just may see a strange telephone number scrawled in red. If you call this number, you will hear a young man introduce himself as the Yato God.
Yato is a minor deity and a self-proclaimed “Delivery God,” who dreams of having millions of worshippers. Without a single shrine dedicated to his name, however, his goals are far from being realized. He spends his days doing odd jobs for five yen apiece, until his weapon partner becomes fed up with her useless master and deserts him.
Just as things seem to be looking grim for the god, his fortune changes when a middle school girl, Hiyori Iki, supposedly saves Yato from a car accident, taking the hit for him. Remarkably, she survives, but the event has caused her soul to become loose and hence able to leave her body. Hiyori demands that Yato return her to normal, but upon learning that he needs a new partner to do so, reluctantly agrees to help him find one. And with Hiyori’s help, Yato’s luck may finally be turning around.

My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected

Novel series

My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected, abbreviated as OreGairu and Hamachi, and also known as My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, is a Japanese light novel series written by Wataru Watari and illustrated by Ponkan8. Wikipedia  {}

I was hooked just two minutes into this show. I liked the picture and so far it seems to be a good story. Well at least it is starting off that way. I can’t wait to get into it, and I hope I am right…

I may have to rethink what I wrote earlier, because there is more than one story going on and I am having a hard time keeping up with them. I am going to watch one more show and see if it’s worth watching the full series…

Hachiman Hikigaya is an apathetic high school student with narcissistic and semi-nihilistic tendencies. He firmly believes that joyful youth is nothing but a farce, and everyone who says otherwise is just lying to themselves.

In a novel punishment for writing an essay mocking modern social relationships, Hachiman’s teacher forces him to join the Volunteer Service Club, a club that aims to extend a helping hand to any student who seeks their support in achieving their goals. With the only other club member being the beautiful ice queen Yukino Yukinoshita, Hachiman finds himself on the front line of other people’s problems—a place he never dreamed he would be. As Hachiman and Yukino use their wits to solve many students’ problems, will Hachiman’s rotten view of society prove to be a hindrance or a tool he can use to his advantage?

Okay, after I just read this article on the story. I understand it a little more, because the guy always seemed out of place as if he didn’t want to be there. I have always said a book is better than the movie or in this case an anime show.

I guess it’s time to stop typing and see if I can get n2 this show as I work on my cross stitch project..

This was the first time I started a series in the middle a.k.a why I didn’t understand the story line and it’s cool for times when I don’t want to watch any fighting.

An Anime & My Project Green….

I spent last weekend avoiding organizing my room and my craft. I thought why not watch a new anime movie as I work on my green project.

Crochet Chevron, Ripple, Zig Zag, Wave – Blanket Pattern & Tutorial

Jayda InStitches  Hi Everyone!  Let’s finish those granny square blankets with a nice simple border!  If you’re a beginner, than this is the tutorial for you! * Granny Square Tutorial –

I stuck to the pattern mostly. Crocheting is like cooking. The pattern can be changed and the stitches still come out looking good.

A whisker Away: 10 Things You Need To Know About Netflix’s  Anime Movie.

Here are 10 facts worth knowing about A Whisker Away, Netflix’s 2020 anime movie. BY LISA DE LA CRUZ  PUBLISHED JUN 17, 2020

I chose this movie, because I love cats. I enjoyed watching it, but
I did more watching then I did crocheting. Was worth it…

I was still looking for nonviolent  anime and I remembered watching “fireworks,” but couldn’t recall the story line.

Fireworks (2017 film) – Wikipedia › wiki › Fireworks_(2017_film)

Watch from the Side?”, also known as Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?) is a 2017 Japanese animated romance film based on Shunji Iwai’s live-action television film of the same name.

I wished I remembered I didn’t care for this movie. Now that I think about it, that should have warned me not to watch it. Now today I kept my word and got to do a little organization.

I had started looking at how other people organized their yarn and thought this would be a cool idea for me. My first thought was to go big, but my bank account said “start small.”

I was thrilled when I finally got it built and organized. 1 & 4 is yarn, 2 is cross stitch & craft books, and 3 is my next 2 crochet projects. (Unless someone request something for me to make for them)

Today I awoke bored and came across “Aya to Majo,” an anime movie.

Earwig and the Witch PG 2020 ‧ Animation/Fantasy ‧ 1h 22m

$210,071. Earwig and the Witch (Japanese: アーヤと魔女, Hepburn: Āya to Majo, lit. “Āya and the Witch”) is a Japanese computer-animated fantasy film directed by Gorō Miyazaki, and is based on the novel of the same name by Diana Wynne Jones.

Diana Wynne Jones · ‎Kacey Musgraves · ‎Sherina Munaf · ‎Shinobu Terajima

This was an interesting movie and didn’t fill out the way I thought it would go or end. I would say it ended with an okay ending. One has to come up with how the movie turned out.

Well, I am done watching anime for now. I need to get back to my green project and relax for the rest of the weekend….

Bye IV Now, LD*

More the an Anime..

I am watching a new anime “B_ack C_over,” and I was going to add a picture and info about the creator, but going through (what is and isn’t copyright) so I am not giving the full name of the show or any pictures.

This story talks about NOT giving up on your dreams and Not letting others stop that dream.

They may have to go through a battle both on the battlefield, through family, and people who could have been your friend.

Is this just like reality? No one wants to be alone and one has to go through a lot of people to find a true friend. One shouldn’t accept a person by blood, classmates, or the workforce.

A friend is someone who truly cares for you, encourages you to be better, and helps you Smile when you are feeling sad. Who says watching anime isn’t good for you.
