I am sorry if you clicked on this and hoping to find something interesting, but I am playing around my site trying to set up this menu bar. I did go to Youtube, but only got a little info. So It is a hit and miss.. Oh well, I said I wasn’t going to give up. And yes I know the site does offer help, but I am so low on $$.

That is what happens when 1 gets hurt, running from a dog, and missing work for a week. No worries… Oh well enough talk (typing) because I am NOT going to get side track..

Not Going to Give UP!!!

*** This is what I was trying to add on as a second page to my blog****

Hello & Welcome to Krochet ~ Cafe….

My name is Lisa D. I enjoy turning yarn, thread, and words into something NeW.  Whenever I have an idea and I want to turn it into reality I find a way to do just that and ‘Krochet~Cafe’ is a way for me to gather my Thoughts & Creativity to set these Dreams Free.

It’s Time to have some FuN!!

*****Although I couldn’t add this on as a second page now. One day I will. Proud of myself for not throwing my computer across the room, because it wasn’t doing what I wanted it to do… Tomorrow is another day. I will come back with a clear mind and will keep trying until I get it right.*******

Wondering why I cannot click on the preview button? Going to fix a cup of tea, find an anime, and relax for the rest of the day………

That’s it IV today, Bye IV Now, LD*

Online Traveling Part 12: Idaho

{} Idaho : US State  Description : Idaho is a northwestern U.S state known for mountainous landscapes, and vast swaths of protected wilderness and outdoor recreation areas. The capital, Boise, is set in the Rocky Mountain foothills and is bisected by the Boise River, which is popular for rafting and fishing. The city’s riverfront Julia Davis Park is a downtown green space containing a rose garden, museums and a zoo. – Google {}

Everyone has heard of Idaho, because of a vegetable. I am talking about potatoes, of course. I know its a state, but never thought past this one simple fact. I know that is sad, but it’s the truth.

I am on this journey of online traveling, because I want to learn about every state within the US. Then I will move around the world. I am going to start with Twin Falls, Idaho.

{} Twin Falls : City in Idaho   Description : Twin Falls is a city in southern Idaho. It’s known as a gateway to Snake River Canyon, which lies just to the north. At the canyon’s eastern end, Shoshone Falls cascades over a broad series of rocks. Trails along the canyon rim lead to the towering Perrine Bridge, which offers  panoramic views and is a popular launching point for BASE jumpers. At the town’s northern edge, Perrine Coulee Falls tumbles over a cliff, – Google {}

Travel With ATeam  After leaving Yellowstone early, we stopped for 1 day in Twin Falls, Idaho. As a last minute plan, we had no idea what we were getting into, and it turned out to be the most incredible surprise! We visited Shoshone Falls and Dierks Lake and fell in love with Idaho. We know we didn’t get enough time to really explore and are already looking forward to when we can head back! {}

#1 – Had to look at three videos before I found something up to date. I like the waterfall. The view was great. I also like the walkway. I myself would still be wearing a face mask, but that’s me.

Side Note: I had put this aside, because – I don’t want to say I was bored. I just need to go to a different city in Idaho. I am sure there is something fun to see.

#2 There wasn’t any music or anyone talking, but I enjoyed this short video. You could hear the water, along with a few cars driving by, and a dog or two. I LOVED the trees.

We Go OFF GRID near Ketchum Idaho – Camping, Boondocking and RV Living

Mountain Beaches   Ketchum Idaho was our nest stop for camping and boondocking. If you want to see the Sawtooth National Forest and Ketchum, Idaho, this is a great place to boondock. Another great activity is to take the drive from Ketchum to Stanley Idaho. {}

#3  This video made me Smile, first with watching the eagle fly high in the sky to the beautiful painting only ‘Mother Nature’ can paint.  I would love to just walk around all the trees and no one else be around, but I don’t know if I can sleep overnight within its beauty.

#4  This video has more information than the video and I am done with Idaho… . Then again they pretty much told me there wasn’t anything else to see or do.. I guess it is a good time to say, “Good-Bye to Idaho”…

No More Fear

Photo by Ryutaro Tsukata on Pexels.com

I still cannot believe I was dumb enough to run from a dog. It’s NOT a surprise I got hurt from not getting over this fear. I know you don’t run from a dog, stay calm, think about something else, and slowly walk away. Never show a dog fear.

Knowing the things you should do and actually doing them are two different things. I have lost days at work. In other words I will NOT have a check for this week, but the bills will still keep coming to my door.

This would turn a normal person to stressing on things they cannot control. It’s how you handle your stress that will help you overcome the bad times in your life. I stay focused on things I can do, get into the Word (The Bible), and know I will overcome any setback, because I will never give up.

I know some may think having a drink is okay, because this will help their pain. Some clean, baking, and the list can go on. They put aside what really is important, not understanding one cannot overlook the real problem and it doesn’t go away.

I am sipping on a cup of hot tea, because I know it always has helped me to relax. I  have been thinking outside of the box, but so far I haven’t been able to get it to work. As I am forced to sit with my leg elevated with an ice pack on my ankle. I will try – no I will do my best to combine my blog and my website www.krochetcafe.com  (and yes I will be keeping my name) together.

I will not let fear take over my thinking about improving my writing and my goal to sell my crochet projects or walking outside where I might see a dog. FEAR YOU WILL NOT WIN.

A Lazy Saturday…

A lazy Saturday doesn’t mean you are not doing anything or going anywhere. The word ‘lazy’ has a different meaning to everyone, what does the words ‘Lazy Saturday’ mean to you?

  1. Crochet – I know I crochet every day. The idea of crocheting as long as I like was a COOL idea. I am keeping my word in finishing one project at a time (unless someone is requesting an item and is paying for my time) and not start another project until I’m done with this one. I am working on an orange and blue project now . Although I would rather be working on another project in a yellow, because I just got some new yarn. I am Smiling just thinking about working on it.
  2. Reading – I gave away most of my books,(because of moving into a smaller space) but saved a few that I liked the most. I started one book, but I was surprised I couldn’t get into it (again). The next book was a Jude Deveraux book “Ever After,” and I cannot put this book down. I know of the characters, but I don’t recall the full story. Once again, I cannot stop reading this book.
  3. I also like playing my video games: Township and Design Home are two of games I play on my phone.
  4. I would watch anime all day  and every day if I had it my way. I am running out of new anime to watch that don’t have fighting in it. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE ONE PIECE  (for where else would I get to watch Zoro) and a few more, but sometimes less action can help clear one’s mind.
  5. Working only if I want to – will end my list on what my lazy day would be (is).

The sun is out, I think I will take my crochet out on the patio, and enjoy the rest of my lazy Saturday.  I hope whatever you call fun, you make that your lazy Saturday or your next free day..
