A Staurday, with Anime…

I am torn between looking for a new anime to start my weekend. I am on the hunt for an anime without fighting in it. I almost want to go back and watch some of my favorites again like:

  • Carole & Tuesday – I watched it on Netflix, (twice) and the best thing about watching a series on Netflix is it starts on the next episode.
  • Forest of Piano      – Another anime I saw on Netflix twice.
  • Violet Evergarden – Well this one has fighting in it, but it is a cool series.
  • After School Dice Club – is also a good anime series, but that’s on Hulu.
  • Fruits Basket        – Has three seasons if you cannot get past the part about curses, then this wouldn’t be the best anime for you. I liked it enough to watch them all twice. Three times.
  • I am still on One Piece, but that has a lot of fighting in it. I am not totally against fighting, but there should be more than that..

 Then again all I want to do is eat my big tasty breakfast, read my book (even though it’s online), and then work on my small crochet project. I am reading my favorite author Ms. Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, “A Rose in Winter”. Well, I cannot read and watch anime, because the book would overrule anything I could have heard. I can crochet though.

‘One Piece,’ won over searching for something new as I enjoyed my breakfast and then a cup of coffee. I am so relaxed. I may just close my eyes for some time and then —

Sometimes it is best to stop planning your next step and as they say, “Go with the Flow.” I have been on the move all week dealing with crazy coworkers, busy customers (who think they should be able to do as they please, even if it’s against a store’s rule), and life in general. I see no harm in doing nothing…

Its going to be hard, because I am always moving or doing something. Even as I am about to close out my thought, I am thinking about looking for a new anime, and —

** I didn’t think i could just stop looking for a new anime, but I haven’t found it yet. I did find one I started watching, but got sidetracked and don’t remember how it ended, so I am now going to watch “The Lost Song,” on Netflix…

This anime has magic and friendship within it and I can’t wait to find out how it ends. The cover picture does look like it should be a good story.. I won’t know until I get past a few episodes..

Think I will go out for a walk before I get to watching as I work on another crochet project. I am making wash clothes, who knew this is an item that some would buy?

Online Traveling 13: Illinois

{} Illinois State of the States of America

Illinois is a state in the Midwestern region of the United States. It has the fifth largest gross  domestic product, the sixth largest population… en.wikipedia.org {}

I know I got side tracked from my  online travels stories , but I haven’t stopped thinking about it. My next stop is Illinois and I can’t wait to see what I find. [it is 6:50pm July 30th, 2021 and after finally fixing a problem on my site ‘wished I had gotten the 3rd person’s name, because he or she was the only 1 who was able to help me’ anyway all I want to do now  is crochet and watch an anime. Tomorrow is another day…..

**Sun 8/1/2021 at 6:38pm –  I have been through at least five cities within the state of Illinois before I found a video that wasn’t talking about retirement. I watched a long video about Galena, Illinois. It had a lot of information, and showed a nice quiet town. Okay, I finally found something and then came the cuss word towards the end, and no way.

I honestly want to work on a different project, but I want to show something from Illinois. There has to be a good video out there…..

#1 It is a beautiful Sunset…

{}https://youtu.be/FJuzfsICkl0  NAPERVILLE Best of Downtown NAPERVILLE  & Riverwalk/Roadside Attractions/ Il           Mar 11, 2021 Santos Chronicles  Naperville is the 4th largest city in Illinois. Naperville is known for its downtown district and riverwalk. The riverwalk is 1.75 miles  located along the West Branch of the DuPage River. Come join our family as we check out the stores, restaurants, and unique statutes. {}

#2 Now this video actually had me wanting to go there, to take that walk along the riverwalk.

** It is almost 7:30pm and I just realized I haven’t eaten dinner yet and one has to get ready to get back into reality knowing another work week is about to start. I will look one more time for some more videos, otherwise there will just be the two…

8/5/2021 I am so bored with Illinois, but I don’t want to give up on it. I wasn’t going to go to Chicgo, because I only liked the movie hahaha. I just don’t care for their basketball team. I will see if I find something there that catches my intention.

{} Chicago City in Illinois                                                                                                                                                           Description  Chicago, on Lake Michigan in Illinois, is among the largest cities in the U.S Famed  for its bold architecture, it has a skyline punctuated by skyscrapers such as the iconic john Hancock Center, 1,451-ft. Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) and the neo-Gothic Tribune Tower. The city is also renowned for its museums, including the Art Institute of Chicago with its noted impressionist and Post-Impressionist works. – Google {}

Okay, nothing that makes me want to go there. I came across this website https://www.choosechicago.com/ if you wanted to get where to go etc etc.. Time to go online and see if I can find a video, before I close out this  state, and move on…

#3 Yes, I am smiling, because I like this video. The buildings remind me of home,(NY) but by the water it looked like a cool place to walk. I may not want to go there, but it was a good video. I am grateful there wasn’t a word about their basketball team.

** Then again I do like their baseball team. Yes, I like the Chicago Clubs, as long as they are not playing the New York Yankees, because I am always a Yankees girl.

I am sorry this will be my shortest trip, because I am so over Illinois –

{}Western Spring College – Nga Puna o Waiorea Waiata Tira ASB Polyfest 2021 April 21, 2021 Whakamoemiti Tipuna  {}

#4 I didn’t really want to close out my story with just three videos and Western Springs is a city in Illinois. It mostly had trains and although I like trains (especially the ones in Europe) I came across this video and although I had no idea what it was about. My first thought was how brave these young people were to be on stage and I wanted to see what they were going to do. It was a nice song. I am sure there is a meaning unbeknown to me, but I was HAPPY listening to it.

** I believe I can leave Illinois knowing there were a few places and sounds I liked.

**A second thought. I will not say anything else about this video, but just in case someone wanted to know what  video got me upset a little. This is it:

My Real Job..

Photo by Artem Beliaikin on Pexels.com

What is the difference between a job and a paycheck? :

  1. Job          – A job is a place where you go to do something for someone else and they pay you to follow their rules.
  2. Paycheck – Is money you get from working at a job.

That was an easy answer to that question, but then again it was just the basic answer. Most people would take the first answer and go onto another question, not looking back, or giving it a second thought.

The problem with that kind of thinking is, “What if there was more,” you would never know if you didn’t look past the first step. When you were in school the teacher would ask what your career choice would be and give you ideas on how to set that dream free (if you get lucky enough to get a teacher who actually cared).

A job could be more than just working at a retail or grocery store?  If you like what you are doing then your job is worth going to everyday. It is the same if you went into a career of your choice.

Now a paycheck is just that, money from a job, and nothing special. A person who is living paycheck to paycheck may just be getting   by and Not living their BEST LIFE.

So, let me ask my question again. What is a job and a paycheck to you? For me my job is just a job just for the paycheck, until I can turn my craft into my real  job ‘One Day’.

I may not be an expert on Anime, but I do enjoy watching a good story. There are a lot of stories I will not look at, (some are either too bloody or go against my beliefs) but there are countless stories to choose from.

I decided I wasn’t going to just drop a random post every now and then. It is beyond time to redo my blog and get organized.

Now don’t get me wrong www.3amThunderofWords.com  was created to write down an idea, to share a laugh or two, and show off whatever crochet project I was working on. It is time to step up my game and how else can I do that, unless I take that 1st step……

Then again I am NOT going to change everything, because that wouldn’t be cool. I am adding two extra pages (the other one will be me being creative with my hands or talking about crochet, cross stitch, and maybe a book). This will help me stay focused on that subject and maybe help everyone read what they are more interested in and cut out useless words.

I have also stopped trying to write a book, because that is something totally different. The difference between a book and a blog post is night & day. At least it is IV me…

When you pick up a book you are already prepared to be reading that story for a while. Whereas a blog post could be long,  not at long as a book, and you get its point.

I will NOT stop typing until my point gets across or until I am happy with its ending. After all, what is the point of keeping a run on sentence going just, because others have more words. ** Sorry I got turned around, because I stopped talking about anime….

Pain Go Away!!!

Photo by Gerhard Lipold on Pexels.com

I sprained my ankle last week. I was determined to go to work and ignore that pain. I know the doctor said she should be off my feet for a week, and iced for at least 10 hours per day (because I couldn’t afford to get a cast). Family and friends told me the same thing.

I understood they care about me, but no one was going to be paying my bills. You can pray I heal and give me encouraging words, but my landlord isn’t going to care about any of those things. I took the pain pills, and got off of my feet as soon as I got home.

When I awoke the next day:

Pain : You thought you were going to get your way this time, “No Ma’am”.

Me   : I haven’t let you have your way before and today isn’t any different.

Pain : Okay, let me see you stand up without your cane.

Me    : It’s already 6am and I don’t have time for your pain. So, “Pain GO AWAY”!

Okay, I am an out of shape hard headed hard work woman, and I know when to stand down or sit down in this case. I called my job early to give them a heads up that I was going to be out of work for 6 days.

That first day was hard, but I wasn’t going to feel sorry for myself. I completed my blue & orange project, cleared out my email (some), and watched so many videos to help get my site working correctly. I got one part, but I AM NOT GIVING UP ON IT..

The second day, I kept on telling myself one more step, stretch for one more minute, and although that pain hasn’t gone away completely. It only comes back at the end of my work day.

That pain may have won a few days ago, but I haven’t stopped stretching or rest as much as I can:

Me    : Pain you got a hold of me for a short time, but I already said it…

Pain  : I am still here and I’m not going anywhere…

Me     : You keep telling yourself that, because I am Not Listening to you….

The words I said were true and as I stayed home resting. I took notice of how many people knew I was hurt and how many people reached out with kind words. Not surprised there were less than a handful.

When I get to work I hear, “Oh I meant to call you, because it wasn’t like you to miss any day.” I just smiled and kept doing what I was supposed to do. Every now and then they would come over to see what happened, but had to leave quickly when someone noticed them out of their work area.

 Pain can be physical or mental. I will Never let pain stop me from doing what I have to do to survive, or being a better me. I know I have to stop working paycheck to paycheck, because there is no way I can save.  I want to start enjoying my life and working for a dead end job isn’t going to work.

I am also going to keep true family and friends close as I move past my here and now and speak to others as I keep it moving. I am going to end this with a question? Are you going to let go of your pain?
