It’s Time to have some FuN!!

This was my website http://www.krochetcafe.com, (and yes it is still up until Sep’ 1st) but I am letting it go. I realized I was talking (typing) here on my blog (and trying to get it better) more so I am going to be me here at ‘3am Thunder of Words’ just like thunder you may Never know where it may go. At least I am hoping to get a Smile or Two…

Well I am working on a ‘yellow project,’ and like to calm down a little. I just liked the colors and then someone made fun of them, because “Why are you making the Lakers colors?” was said to me. I had to laugh, because if you know me – then you know I am NOT a Sport kind of girl.

I crochet for a lot of reasons:

  1. I find some colors that I like –
  2. Someone ask me to make something from their choice of colors –
  3. Someone give me their yarn, because they have giving up on working with them –
  4. or I am just working on leftover yarn.

Which is what I am doing right now, but its all good. I found a new pattern and I am having fun…

No More Fear

I still cannot believe I was dumb enough to run from a dog. It’s NOT a surprise I got hurt from not getting over this fear. I know you don’t run from a dog, stay calm, think about something else, and slowly walk away. Never show a dog fear.

Knowing the things you should do and actually doing them are two different things. I have lost days at work. In other words I will NOT have a check for this week, but the bills will still keep coming to my door.

This would turn a normal person to stressing on things they cannot control. It’s how you handle your stress that will help you overcome the bad times in your life. I stay focused on things I can do, get into the Word (The Bible), and know I will overcome any setback, because I will never give up.

I know some may think having a drink is okay, because this will help their pain. Some clean, baking, and the list can go on. They put aside what really is important, not understanding one cannot overlook the real problem and it doesn’t go away.

I am sipping on a cup of hot tea, because I know it always has helped me to relax. I  have been thinking outside of the box, but so far I haven’t been able to get it to work. As I am forced to sit with my leg elevated with an ice pack on my ankle. I will try – no I will do my best to combine my blog and my website www.krochetcafe.com  (and yes I will be keeping my name) together.

I will not let fear take over my thinking about improving my writing and my goal to sell my crochet projects or walking outside where I might see a dog. FEAR YOU WILL NOT WIN.

A Lazy Saturday…

A lazy Saturday doesn’t mean you are not doing anything or going anywhere. The word ‘lazy’ has a different meaning to everyone, what does the words ‘Lazy Saturday’ mean to you?

  1. Crochet – I know I crochet every day. The idea of crocheting as long as I like was a COOL idea. I am keeping my word in finishing one project at a time (unless someone is requesting an item and is paying for my time) and not start another project until I’m done with this one. I am working on an orange and blue project now . Although I would rather be working on another project in a yellow, because I just got some new yarn. I am Smiling just thinking about working on it. 
  2. Reading – I gave away most of my books,(because of moving into a smaller space) but saved a few that I liked the most. I started one book, but I was surprised I couldn’t get into it (again). The next book was a Jude Deveraux book “Ever After,” and I cannot put this book down. I know of the characters, but I don’t recall the full story. Once again, I cannot stop reading this book. 
  3. I also like playing my video games: Township and Design Home are two of games I play on my phone.
  4. I would watch anime all day  and every day if I had it my way. I am running out of new anime to watch that don’t have fighting in it. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE ONE PIECE  (for where else would I get to watch Zoro) and a few more, but sometimes less action can help clear one’s mind.
  5. Working only if I want to – will end my list on what my lazy day would be (is).

The sun is out, I think I will take my crochet out on the patio, and enjoy the rest of my lazy Saturday.  I hope whatever you call fun, you make that your lazy Saturday or your next free day..

A Good Question…

I know I am watching way too much anime, but I cannot help what I enjoy watching in  my free time. I am thinking about how I can change how I live. 

I am at a loss for new anime to watch, (that has no fighting in it) and once again turned back to something I had watched before, “The Ouran HighSchool Host Club.” 

~ The twins had asked Haruhi if they could come over to her house and she said, “no,” but that didn’t change their mind. They planned their fight and didn’t stop until she stepped in. It was after she agreed they could come over, that she realized she had been tricked, but it was too late to change her mind.

I got my question after the guys entered her apartment and she asked them to take their shoes off. Tamaki had asked about slippers, but they noticed there was a tatami mat and they didn’t need slippers. ~

I like the idea of leaving your shoes at the door and the dirt outside. I like the idea of the soft floor, but there is no way these old bones can sit or sleep on the floor. Then again, the more I read about the benefits of tatami mats, the more I want to have them in my house, and not just as flooring.

I am smiling just thinking about what my new place could look like on the inside, but what about those cool walkways around the house? Time to get to searching if it could be done.

There are a few websites that give information about how to design and the meaning of  a Japanese  walkway, but some had more information than pictures, or the site wanted more information from then I was willing to give.

I went to my FAVORITE website and got a lot of cool ideas for a Japanese walkway on Pinterest.com.  If you do not have an account “WHY NOT?” It is free and it is full of cool things. In a few clicks you will have some questions answered and have fun doing it.

I just started a ‘Backyard’ board with one picture, but I like to explore more ideas for this new board. I am not surprised when I have gotten one question answered, I have another in its place, because one cannot be bored if they are full of questions.  I have heard ‘the more you know – the more you grow,’ and I will continue to keep my mind growing with more intriguing questions. Who doesn’t enjoy finding an answer to a good question?
